Watched Freedom Writers for the first time last night, asking myself why did I miss out on this? But anyways, what an inspirational movie. I mean, race issues are still around and unnoticeable racial separation exists. It's great to see a movie that examines that and has a good feel to it. Hilary Swank pulls off the teacher job really well. Memorable quote from the movie
"We are all ordinary people. But even an ordinary secretary, or a housewife, or a teenager can within their own small ways turn on a small light in a dark room."
